In 2001, Kristen Hooper and Jennifer Rector - best friends and newly certified Executive Chefs from The Art Institute of Dallas - visited the square in downtown McKinney and knew they had found something special.  

Deciding it was time to bring their food to the masses, they converted a bookstore on Chestnut Street into a commercial kitchen - after several months of heavy lifting and elbow grease!  Once their hard work was complete, McKinney Catering Company was open for business.    

Since then, Kristen and Jenn have provided delicious meals and friendly service for countless wedding receptions, corporate events, and private parties.  From Smoked BBQ Briskets to Chicken Bruschetta, from Beef Tenderloin to Heavy Hors D’oeuvres, you name the menu, they’ll make it delicious.
